“Uh-oh! Little Owl has fallen out of the nest…” When Little Owl is separated from mummy owl, a well-meaning squirrel helps to look for her. Little Owl’s descriptions of her (very big, pointy ears, big eyes) result in some very funny cases of mistaken identity: Squirrel insists that a bear, a rabbit, then a frog must be Little Owl’s mummy. When Mummy Owl is finally reunited with her little one, she is so grateful to the animals that she invites them back to her nest for biscuits.
