Hugo the hippo is unique; only he can stand on his head, do the splits, touch his toes and triple-back-flip his way through a water ballet. At least that’s what he believes until Bella the bird copies his every move in an attempt to join in the fun. Hugo’s irritation at Bella’s imitation evaporates when some bystanders congratulate them on their amazing synchronised swimming routine.

I Am Not a Copycat! (Hugo & Bella)
This book comically reflects a behavioural quirk that many children display at some point: imitating those around them to the point of extreme annoyance! The story gently promotes tolerance in others.
