Oliver is visiting his grandparents. The best thing about staying there is their big garden full of vegetables. The thing is, Oliver doesn’t like vegetables – he only eats chips! Grandpa challenges Oliver to find potatoes in the ground so they can make chips, but if he finds another vegetable instead, he has to eat it. Over the week, Oliver finds carrots, spinach, rhubarb, cabbage, beetroot and peas, tries them and eats them all up. Finally, he finds the potatoes and they make chips. Mum arrives and thinks he’s eaten nothing but chips all week, but of course we know he hasn’t!
