This book gives a very positive view of living within a blended family. Both men are very proactive parents and the book shows many positive images of the time they spend with their daughter.

A young girl lovingly describes her two fathers, one who she calls Dad and one who she calls Pa. The book does not go into detail on the exact events which led to the girl having two fathers, but the illustrations imply that Dad is the girl’s biological father and Pa is her stepfather. She explains that her fathers are very different in many ways, but they both help and support her, and in one very important way they are both exactly the same – the both love her.
