When baby William was brought home from hospital, he was not quite what his big sister Lucy was expecting: he cried a lot, slept a lot and made funny noises and smells. So she decides he should be taken back to the hospital and swapped for another baby. Her parents agree, so off they all go. The doctor swaps William for baby animals of all shapes and sizes, but they all have ‘faults’ so are each returned to the hospital. Lucy realises that maybe William is not that bad after all, and to her parents relief they bring him back home. Soon she decides that, as babies go, he is actually perfect.
