This is a very simple picture book with minimal text aimed at very young children. The little boy (Freddie) remains silent throughout, with his teddy bear providing comments and observations in his place! Mummy thinks it is time Freddie has his haircut, so they visit Bob the friendly hairdresser. Bob covers Freddie’s clothes, wets his hair down with a water spray (teddy requests that he is careful not to snip his ears). Freddie has a smart new haircut and he and teddy get to choose a lollipop.
